My CSV or PDF export is empty or failing to download

You clicked Export but the downloaded file is empty, contains only headers, or the download never starts. A filter mismatch or a browser permission blocking the download are the usual causes.

You clicked the export button on the attribution table, campaign analytics, or ads report, but the downloaded file is empty, has only headers with no data rows, or the download fails to start at all.

Export dropdown on the Ads Report toolbar with CSV and PDF options
The export dropdown generates a file from the currently visible table rows. If the table is empty under the active filters, the export will be empty too.

Why this happens

An empty CSV export means the current filter or date range produced no rows to export. When the table on screen is empty, the export file will be empty. An export that does not start at all usually means your browser blocked the file download or a network timeout occurred while the server was generating the file.

How to fix it

  • Before exporting, confirm the table on screen has actual data rows under the current filters. If the table is empty, the export will also be empty.
  • Change the date range filter to Last 90 days or Last 180 days to broaden the data set, then try the export again.
  • Check your browser's download settings to confirm it is not blocking file downloads from revenueproven.com. Some corporate browsers require you to explicitly allow downloads per domain.
  • Temporarily disable pop-up blockers. Some export flows open a secondary download window that a pop-up blocker may close before the download starts.
  • Try the export in a different browser to rule out a browser-specific issue.
  • If the download starts but the file is corrupted or unreadable, try once more. A corrupted file usually means the server timed out mid-generation, and a retry typically succeeds.

Still stuck?

Contact support and describe which export type is failing (CSV, PDF, or scheduled report). We can run the export server-side and email the file to you directly as a workaround while we investigate.
