Company names appear wrong, garbled, or show raw IDs

Instead of readable company names you see numeric LinkedIn organization IDs, blank entries, or truncated names in the attribution table. This is a cached organization lookup issue that usually resolves after the next sync.

The attribution or campaign analytics table shows rows with numeric organization IDs instead of company names, or company names look truncated or incorrect. Some rows may have a blank company name column.

Company names are resolved from LinkedIn organization IDs during the sync pipeline. A fresh sync re-fetches any stale entries.

Why this happens

Revenue Proven resolves LinkedIn organization IDs to human-readable names by querying the LinkedIn Organization Lookup API. Results are cached to avoid hitting rate limits. Occasionally the cache holds a stale or empty value because LinkedIn returned incomplete data during a previous sync or because a company recently updated its LinkedIn page.

How to fix it

  • Trigger a manual sync from the Connections page. The sync pipeline includes an organization lookup phase that re-fetches and refreshes company names.
  • Wait for the sync to complete fully across all phases, then do a hard refresh of the dashboard page.
  • If only a few rows are affected, this often self-corrects in the next scheduled daily sync without any action needed.
  • Check that your LinkedIn connection is Active. A disconnected LinkedIn integration prevents the organization lookup phase from running, leaving all new IDs unresolved.
  • If a company name looks like it belongs to a completely different company, this can indicate a collision in LinkedIn's company graph. These are rare and usually self-correct as LinkedIn updates their data.

Still stuck?

Contact support with a screenshot of the affected rows. We can check the organization lookup cache and force a re-fetch for the specific IDs that are showing incorrect data.
