Troubleshooting: Why Isn’t My Deal Showing Up?

Common reasons a CRM deal might not appear in your RevenueProven attribution data.

Common Causes

If a deal isn't appearing in RevenueProven, it's almost always one of four issues: the deal's company isn't matched to a LinkedIn organization, the deal was created outside your lookback window, the most recent sync hasn't completed, or the deal's associated company record is missing a website domain.

Check #1: Company Match Status

Navigate to the Attribution table and search for the company name. If it appears with a match status, the company is recognized. If it doesn't appear at all, the company may be unmatched. Go to the "Unmatched Companies" view to see if the LinkedIn organization exists but wasn't matched to a CRM record.

Check #2: Lookback Window

RevenueProven only attributes deals where LinkedIn engagement occurred within your configured lookback window before the deal's creation or stage-change date. If your window is 30 days but the LinkedIn engagement happened 45 days before the deal was created, it won't show. Try expanding your lookback window to 60 or 90 days.

Check #3: Sync Status

Open your dashboard and check the last sync timestamp. If your deal was recently created or updated in the CRM, it may not have been picked up yet. Click "Sync Now" to trigger a manual refresh, or wait for the next scheduled daily sync.

Check #4: CRM Data Quality

The most common root cause is a missing website domain on the CRM company record. Without a domain, RevenueProven can't match the company to LinkedIn engagement data. Check the deal's associated company in your CRM and ensure the website field is populated with the company's primary domain.

Still Not Showing Up?

If none of the above resolve the issue, it's possible the company's employees genuinely didn't engage with your LinkedIn ads during the lookback period. Not every deal will have LinkedIn attribution — and that's okay. RevenueProven shows you where LinkedIn is influencing pipeline, which is equally valuable for knowing where it isn't.
