Building an Ads Report

Building an Ads Report

Configure your Ads Report by choosing metrics, reordering columns with drag-and-drop, applying per-column filters, and opening row detail panels to explore the data that matters most.

The Ads Report is your central workspace for analyzing LinkedIn ad performance alongside revenue attribution data. You can build exactly the view you need by adding metrics, adjusting the column layout, and filtering down to specific campaigns, ad sets, or ads.

The Ads Report table lets you add, reorder, and filter metric columns to focus on the data that matters.

Choosing Your Metrics

Click "Add metrics" in the column header bar to open the inline metric picker. Every metric in the library is listed here, from impressions and clicks through to cost-per-click, engagement rate, and attributed pipeline. Select as many as you need, then close the picker to see them appear immediately as new columns.

  • Impressions, clicks, and spend are available on all plans.
  • Attribution metrics (influenced pipeline, influenced deals, influenced revenue) require at least one completed sync.
  • Engagement rate is total engagements divided by total impressions, a computed ratio.

Reordering and Showing or Hiding Columns

Drag any column header left or right to reorder it. The new order is saved across sessions, so you only need to set it once. To hide a column you no longer need, open the column visibility toggle in the toolbar and uncheck it. Hidden columns stay available in the picker and can be restored at any time.

Resize columns by dragging the right edge of any header cell. Column widths are saved per-table so your layout is preserved when you navigate away and return.

Filtering Within Columns

Each column has its own filter popover, accessible by clicking the filter icon that appears when you hover over a column header. Text columns support contains and exact-match filters. Numeric columns support greater-than, less-than, and between-range filters. You can apply multiple column filters at the same time, and active filters are highlighted so you always know what is currently applied.

Resetting Your View

The Reset button in the toolbar clears all active column filters and restores the default column set and order. Use it as a quick way to start a fresh analysis without navigating away from the page.

Viewing Row Details

Click any row to open the Details panel on the right. The panel shows every metric for that campaign, ad set, or ad, pulled from the same column set visible in the main table. When you add a new metric to the table, it appears in the details panel automatically with no extra configuration.
