Sync Schedule and Connection Health

Sync Schedule and Connection Health

Revenue Proven syncs your LinkedIn and CRM data automatically every day. Learn how the sync pipeline works, how to trigger a manual refresh, and how to restore a disconnected integration.

Revenue Proven syncs data from your connected integrations automatically on a daily schedule. You can also trigger a manual refresh at any time to pull the latest data without waiting for the next scheduled run. Understanding how sync works helps you read data freshness on the dashboard and troubleshoot issues when they arise.

How the sync pipeline works

Each sync cycle processes your integrations in a fixed sequence so that each step has fresh data to work with.

  • Pull your LinkedIn engagement data across the lookback windows available on your plan
  • Resolve the companies behind that engagement using LinkedIn company data
  • Pull CRM records from HubSpot or Salesforce, including companies, deals, contacts, and pipelines
  • Match LinkedIn-engaged companies to your CRM accounts using domain-first matching with a name-based fallback
  • Update your attribution metrics and dashboard numbers

The full cycle typically completes within a few minutes for most accounts. You can see the last sync time on the Connections page.

Triggering a manual refresh

To pull fresh data outside the daily schedule, open Connections (under Workspace in the left sidebar) and click the Sync Now button on the relevant integration. The sync runs in the background and the dashboard updates once it completes.

Connection health

Each connected integration shows its health status on the Connections page.

  • Connected: the integration is healthy and syncing on schedule
  • Disconnected: the authorization has expired or been revoked, and syncing has stopped

Revenue Proven also sends in-app notifications via the notification bell when a sync is interrupted or a connection is disconnected. The notification includes which integration was affected and a link directly to the Connections page.

Disconnecting an integration

To disconnect an integration, open Connections (under Workspace in the left sidebar) and click Disconnect next to the relevant integration. Disconnecting stops future syncs but does not delete historical data already in your workspace. You can reconnect at any time by clicking Connect and completing the OAuth flow. Revenue Proven resumes incremental sync from the last successful point, so previously synced records are not re-pulled.

What to do when sync is interrupted

If a sync is interrupted, Revenue Proven updates the connection status and sends you a notification. The most common causes are an expired authorization token, revoked access in the connected platform, or a temporary outage on the provider side. For expired or revoked tokens, clicking Reconnect on the Connections page and completing the OAuth flow resolves the issue immediately. For provider outages, Revenue Proven retries automatically on the next scheduled sync.
