LinkedIn Ads Integration
Connect your LinkedIn Ads account to Revenue Proven to pull campaign data and company-level engagement signals that power your B2B attribution.
The LinkedIn Ads integration is the core data source for Revenue Proven attribution. Once you connect via OAuth, Revenue Proven reads your campaign data and company-level engagement from the LinkedIn Marketing API on a daily schedule. Your LinkedIn credentials are encrypted before being stored and are never exposed outside the platform.

What data Revenue Proven reads
For attribution, Revenue Proven reads your ad analytics and company-level engagement data. This includes campaign metadata, ad formats, and the signals that show which companies interacted with your ads. Revenue Proven does not access personal contact data from LinkedIn.
- Campaigns: name, status, objective, budget, and dates
- Ad sets: format and targeting criteria snapshot
- Company engagement: impressions, clicks, engagements, and spend broken down by company, per campaign
Company-level engagement
The most valuable signal Revenue Proven uses is company-level ad engagement. Rather than showing only aggregate campaign totals, the platform reads LinkedIn's Ad Analytics API for company-level breakdowns. This tells you which companies' employees engaged with your ads, how heavily, and when. Revenue Proven joins these signals to your CRM data to produce the attribution reports on your dashboard.
With this data, Revenue Proven can answer questions like: which accounts in your CRM pipeline were most exposed to your ads before a deal closed? This company-to-account matching is the foundation of the platform's B2B attribution model.
How to connect your LinkedIn Ads account
Sign in to revenueproven.com and follow these steps.
- In the left sidebar, open Connections (under Workspace)
- Click Connect next to LinkedIn Ads
- You will be redirected to LinkedIn to authorize Revenue Proven
- Select the ad account you want to sync and confirm
- Revenue Proven will begin the first sync automatically
Permissions for attribution
For attribution, Revenue Proven requests read access to your ad analytics and company engagement data. The authorization screen shows the exact scopes being requested. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication on your LinkedIn account as a security best practice, though it is not a requirement for the API connection itself.
If you use Growth-plan features like Ads Manager or Automated Campaigns, those tools request additional LinkedIn permissions when you use them. You authorize those separately, and they do not affect the core attribution connection.
Lookback windows
Revenue Proven pulls engagement data across multiple lookback windows. The windows available to you depend on your plan.
- Free: 7-day and 30-day windows only
- Pro and above: 7, 30, 60, 90, and 180-day windows
Troubleshooting a disconnected account
If your LinkedIn Ads connection shows a Disconnected status, the most common cause is an expired or revoked authorization. In the left sidebar, open Connections (under Workspace), then click Reconnect next to LinkedIn Ads. Completing the OAuth flow issues fresh authorization and sync resumes automatically. Revenue Proven also sends a notification via the in-app bell when a connection is interrupted.
