Configure Your User Preferences
Each Revenue Proven user controls their own reporting currency, default lookback window, customer journey view mode, theme, and other display preferences. This guide walks through what each preference does.
The default dashboard settings do not fit everyone on your team. Revenue Proven lets each user configure their own currency, default lookback window, customer journey view mode, and theme, so you see the data the way that makes most sense for your role without affecting your teammates.
User preferences are available on all plans including Free. Each preference is stored on your individual account and follows you across browsers and devices.
How to update your preferences
- Go to Settings from the left sidebar.
- Update Attribution Currency, Preferred Lookback Window, Customer Journey View Mode, and Theme to match your needs.
- Most changes take effect immediately without a page reload.
- Your settings persist across sessions, browsers, and devices.

What each preference controls
- Attribution Currency: the currency Revenue Proven uses to display deal amounts in dashboards, tables, and exports. Defaults to USD. Original CRM amounts are preserved and converted at display time.
- Preferred Lookback Window: the rolling window the dashboard opens to by default. Options are 7, 30, 60, 90, and 180 days. Free plans are limited to the 7 and 30 day windows.
- Customer Journey View Mode: controls how the account-level timeline displays. Summarized is the most compact view, Detailed shows the full event log, and Table puts events in a sortable data format.
- Theme: System follows your OS preference. Light and Dark apply fixed modes. Changes apply instantly without a reload.
Best practices
- Set your attribution currency to match the currency your sales team reports pipeline in. This makes conversations about influenced revenue easier because everyone reads the same numbers.
- Set your preferred lookback window to the period you review most often. If you run weekly pipeline reviews, set the default to 7 days.
- Sales reps who use Revenue Proven for outreach prioritization should set Customer Journey View Mode to Detailed so they see the full account history at a glance.
- If your team works across multiple currencies, each user should set their own preference rather than expecting a workspace-wide default.
Common mistakes
- Assuming your preference changes affect your teammates. Every preference is scoped to your individual account only.
- Trying to set a 180-day default lookback window on a Free plan. The 180-day option only appears on Pro plans and above.
- Not setting an attribution currency before your first pipeline review. You may end up presenting USD amounts when your team expects a different currency.
FAQ
Does changing my attribution currency change what is stored in my CRM?
No. Your CRM amounts are preserved exactly as they appear in HubSpot or Salesforce. Revenue Proven converts those amounts to your chosen display currency at render time. The source data is never modified.
Which lookback windows are available on the Free plan?
Free plans can use the 7 and 30 day windows. Pro plans and above unlock all five windows: 7, 30, 60, 90, and 180 days.
Do my dismissed guidance cards reset when I log out?
No. Dismissed guidance cards are stored on your user account and stay dismissed across sessions and devices.
Does Revenue Proven remember my column widths between sessions?
Yes. Column widths you set on tables like Company Insights and Ads Report are stored as part of your preferences and restored when you return.
Troubleshooting
- The 180-day lookback option does not appear in preferences: this window requires a Pro plan or above. Check your current plan under Settings > Subscription.
- Currency amounts look wrong after changing the preference: refresh the page. Some cached data may need a reload to display the new currency.
- Preference changes do not stick after logging out: this should not happen, but if it does, contact support with a description of which preference is resetting.
