The Customer Journey Account Timeline

The Customer Journey Account Timeline

The Customer Journey view shows every LinkedIn ad touchpoint and CRM milestone for a single account in chronological order, giving you full visibility into how deals develop and a ready-made proof artifact for sales and leadership.

The Customer Journey view presents a single account's complete history as a chronological timeline. It stitches together LinkedIn ad engagement events with CRM deal milestones and stage changes. The result is a single view showing exactly how an account moved from first ad impression to closed revenue.

Events Shown on the Timeline

  • LinkedIn ad impressions, clicks, engagements, and leads with campaign name and date
  • CRM deal creation, deal stage changes, and deal won events
  • AI Discovery visits sourced from AI-powered search tools, when the AI Discovery add-on is active

Reading the Timeline

Events appear in ascending date order with the oldest event at the top. LinkedIn ad events and CRM deal events are visually distinguished so you can see at a glance where ad engagement overlapped with deal progression. Hover any event to see full details including campaign name, deal stage name, and deal amount. The gap between the first LinkedIn impression and the CRM deal creation date represents the pre-pipeline influence window.

Using the Timeline for Sales Conversations

Account executives can open the Customer Journey view before a sales call to understand which of your campaigns the prospect has already seen. This helps tailor the conversation: if an account engaged heavily with a specific campaign theme, leading with that message tends to resonate better than a generic pitch. The timeline also helps explain to leadership why a deal was influenced by LinkedIn even if the CRM contact never clicked a tracked link.

Sharing the Timeline

Export the timeline as a CSV using the export button. To capture a visual snapshot, take a manual screenshot of the view and drop it into a slide deck, deal brief, or message to a colleague. This is a straightforward way to present LinkedIn influence evidence to stakeholders who do not log into Revenue Proven directly.

Filtering and Navigating

Open the Customer Journey view from any matched company row in the Company Insights table by clicking the account name. Use the date range filter at the top to zoom into a specific period, such as the 90 days before a deal closed. The timeline respects your selected lookback window by default but can be expanded to show all historical data for that account.
