Ads Manager: Review and Update Your LinkedIn Ad Status

Ads Manager gives you an operational table view of the LinkedIn ad objects Revenue Proven has synced from your account. Learn how to filter, sort, change status, trigger a sync, export data, and understand terminology differences from LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

Ads Manager is an operational table that shows the LinkedIn ad objects Revenue Proven has synced from your connected ad account. Before you start, note that the labels used inside Ads Manager differ from those in LinkedIn Campaign Manager. In Ads Manager, "Campaign" refers to a LinkedIn Campaign Group, "Ad Set" refers to a LinkedIn Campaign, and "Ad" refers to a LinkedIn Creative. Keep that mapping in mind whenever you cross-reference data between the two products.

Ads Manager displays synced LinkedIn ad objects across three levels: Campaigns (Campaign Groups), Ad Sets (Campaigns), and Ads (Creatives). Status controls let you switch between Active, Paused, and Archived.

What Ads Manager Does

  • List, search, filter, sort, and paginate your synced campaign groups, campaigns, and creatives
  • View entity detail for any row to see all synced fields for that object
  • Trigger a sync to pull the latest LinkedIn ad data into the table
  • Export visible or selected rows to a CSV file
  • Change the status of a single item or multiple items at once to Active, Paused, or Archived

How to Use It

  • Navigate to Ads Manager in the sidebar to open the full table of synced ad objects
  • Use the search bar and filter controls to narrow by account, status, or name
  • Click a row to open the entity detail panel for that item
  • To change status for one item, open its status dropdown and select Active, Paused, or Archived
  • To change status in bulk, select up to 50 rows, open the bulk action menu, and confirm the change when prompted
  • Click Sync to refresh the table with the latest data from LinkedIn
  • Use the Export button to download a CSV of the current filtered view

Limitations

  • Ads Manager is for viewing and updating status only. It does not create new campaigns, ad sets, or ads.
  • Bulk status changes are capped at 50 items per action. A confirmation step is required before any bulk change is applied.
  • Only Active, Paused, and Archived status transitions are supported. Canceled, Removed, and Draft are not available through Ads Manager.
  • Status write actions require a LinkedIn connection with the rw_ads scope and the edit_campaigns account role. Status buttons may appear but remain disabled if either condition is not met, or if the global write switch or your account rollout flag is off.
  • Listing, syncing, and exporting do not require write permissions and are available as soon as your LinkedIn Ads account is synced.

Ads Manager is available on Growth, Scale, Agency, and Enterprise plans.
